A warm and friendly little eagle's nest, the 30-place Maupas refuge (3 bat-flancs for 10 people on 3 levels, no shower room or bathroom, one cold water point and one outside toilet), invites you to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of summer by taking a step up into the heart of the Pyrenees! Away from the fine sand, but very close to peaks over 3000m and the Crabioules cirque; passing through forests of hundred-year-old beech trees, mountain pastures, torrents and waterfalls! A beautiful succession of lakes teeming with fish, itineraries where you're likely to come across isards and vultures, beautiful rock faces to climb - all the elements are there to make your visit to Le Maupas a success.
