Refuge d'Issarbe

SPECIAL OPENING ON TUESDAY, JULY 14. Nestled at 1,450 m in a setting of unspoiled nature, the Refuge d'Issarbe can accommodate 15 people: 10 in a dormitory, 5 in a family room (1 double bed and 3 single beds). Located at the foot of the Pic d’Issarbe and at the entrance to the Nordic area for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and sledding in winter. In warmer weather, Issarbe serves as the starting point for hiking and mountain biking trails. For thrill-seekers, the site is designated for paragliding. Adjacent to the lodge, the restaurant Le Grand Tétras and its terrace can seat up to 45 guests. Whether staying overnight or on a half-board basis, you’ll enjoy a peaceful getaway in a 100% natural setting: in the forest or on the ridges, always with incredible views of the Pic d’Anie, the Arguibelle cliff, or the Kakuetta Gorges as a backdrop.
