Le Colombier et la Soue

Experience life in a château during your stay in Burgundy at Le Colombier and its outbuilding, La Soue. Le Colombier is a large, family-run guesthouse, an outbuilding of the Château d’Arcelot, built in the 18th century. On the ground floor: a charming dining room with authentic decor, a fireplace insert, and a kitchen area. Living room with TV. One bedroom with a 160-bed and an en suite bathroom. Separate toilet. A beautiful staircase leads to the next two floors. First floor: 4 bedrooms (3 160-size beds and 2 90-size beds that can be joined) and 2 bathrooms with toilets. On the second floor: a bedroom with 2 90-bed that can be joined together, a relaxation area, a washing machine, and a bathroom with a toilet. A final bedroom features 3 90-beds, 2 of which can be joined together, and a bathroom with a toilet. 1 crib for a baby. La Soue is a converted outbuilding located at the entrance to the courtyard. It consists of a bedroom (140x200 bed), a bathroom with a toilet, and a living area with a kitchenette and a sofa bed for 2 people. All-inclusive price: Bed linens, bath towels, final cleaning, oil-fired heating, firewood, and electricity are included in the price. Beds are made upon arrival. Outside, you’ll enjoy two private, enclosed courtyards and gardens in front of and behind the cottage, covering over 1,000 m², but above all, you’ll have the privilege of access to the castle’s 45-hectare landscaped park—one of the first in Burgundy in the 19th century—complete with its pond. Meals can be ordered from a local caterer. Finally, be sure to take advantage of your stay to visit the château—which has always remained in the same family—with its grand salon, chapel, and more. Arcelot is 15 km from Dijon, the capital of Burgundy.
