Nestled in the heart of a wooded valley, in the hamlet of Lamandeau in Busserolles, La Selva is an 18th-century hamlet that has been brought back to life in a well-preserved setting. Formerly a royal forge, then a spinning mill, dyehouse, and porcini mushroom cannery, the site is crossed by a stream that still flows at the foot of the buildings. The five rooms (15–30 m²), located in the hamlet’s largest building, include breakfast served around a large, convivial table. The hamlet can be reserved exclusively for up to 14 people for retreats, seminars, workshops, or artist residencies. Surrounded by forest, with trails starting right from the hamlet, La Selva invites you to slow down, enjoy the garden, evenings by the fire, and nights when you can see the Milky Way with the naked eye. Wi-Fi is available, but here, you’ll quickly forget about your phone.
