Les Gîtes de Cherlieu

Les Gîtes de Cherlieu are situated in a tiny abbey hamlet, in the heart of a vast state-owned forest. The estate comprises two authentic 18th-century stone houses, carefully renovated, which can accommodate up to 14 people in a peaceful, unique and unspoilt setting. The Cherlieu house (sleeps 6), a former forester’s cottage, offers a cosy atmosphere with its exposed beams, large living room and two bedrooms. The Christal house (sleeps 8), a detached property, features spacious rooms, three family bedrooms and a private garden. In fine weather, a large barn provides the perfect setting for sharing meals together in a convivial atmosphere. In winter, a spacious lounge welcomes guests around the same table. A seasonal swimming pool, the ruins of the old abbey, unspoilt countryside and numerous walking trails make the Gîtes de Cherlieu an ideal place to get together with family or friends.
