La Guérandière

La Guérandière, a private mansion dating from 1870, in the heart of the medieval city of Guérande, has been completely renovated in the spirit of the past, which has been fortunately preserved: the period stained glass windows, the woodwork, the parquet floors, the fireplaces in each room, the solid oak staircase, all give this residence an unequalled atmosphere. The taste for authenticity has made this restoration, a welcoming and refined whole at the same time. Adjacent to the ramparts of the famous city fortified by Jean de Montfort from 1343, just adjoining the Porte Vannetaise (one of the four gates) which it enjoys, it opens at the back onto a lovely quiet garden overlooking the old stones of these fortifications. As soon as the first rays of sunshine arrive, you can enjoy a pleasant breakfast in the old-fashioned glass roof.
